High Country Rides
Guided Ride through Black Hills National Forest!
Our knowledgeable wranglers will pair you with a compatible horse based on experience and personality. We will be teaching you the basics to get you comfortable on horseback and off we go. We will ride through the back country woods of the beautiful Black Hills. Take in gorgeous scenery, surrounded by our famous Ponderosa, Lodgepole and Spruce Pines, wildflowers and if we are lucky some wildlife! There might even be a few surprises along the way! We will pause during the ride to take some scenic photos of you with your horse, to post on your socials. Choose from morning & afternoon ride times. Maximum weight 230 pounds. We Ride Rain or Shine.
Please Note: Ride times may vary depending on weather and trail conditions, especially early in the season.
OR BRING YOUR OWN HORSES!
We have 15 stalls for your horse; each corral has water & 50/30/20 amp electric hook-up next to corral; horse trailer parking near corrals is available except when outdoor theater is being used for events.

- Helmets are not required for this activity. We do not provide helmets for guests but you are welcome to bring your own.
- Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance for a refund
- Bags, fanny packs, backpacks are not permitted on the horse. We can hold items for you while you ride.
Buckaroo Rides
Ages 3-6 • 15 Minute Ride / Experience around the pony loop!!
Your littles get the cowboy/cowgirl experience!
Bring your kids (Ages 3-6) for a Pony Ride! Your little buckaroos will be led around our “pony loop” by an experienced wrangler.
