Deb comes to the ranch with over 30 years of financial
leadership experience for agricultural clients, non-profit
governmental entities, and also as a small business owner. She is
deeply rooted in South Dakota as her hometown is Bruce, SD. The Black
Hills has been her favorite vacation place ever since she was a little
girl. Her favorite activity in the Black Hills is riding horse to
Harney Peak (Black Elk Peak) Her favorite part of the Ranch is being
able to take care of her passions which is animals and rodeo and she
really enjoys seeing the guests smiles.
Alisha | Event Coordinator & Marketer
Alisha comes to the ranch born and
raised in The Black Hills. Her and her husband have a cattle ranch just a few miles from High Country and they also own a local business. When she is not running around her ranch with her 4 kids she is at
High Country taking care of all of the marketing and events for the ranch. Her favorite part of the ranch is helping with weddings to make the bride and grooms day perfect, planning events for everyone to enjoy, making sure that the guests utilize everything that the ranch has to offer and that they leave here saying, “I cant wait to come back!”
Jon | Head Maintenance Supervisor
Jon comes to the ranch as head maintenance supervisor with over 12 years of experience in campground resort maintenance and care taking which includes supervision, plumbing, electrical and carpentry experience. Jon also has 22 years of aircraft mechanic experience which he practiced in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. He has called Hill City his home for most of his life. Jon’s favorite part of the ranch is its versatility from the horses, to the campers and guests, the arena and ATVs. No two days are the same at the ranch for him.
Dixie | Head Housekeeper
Dixie comes to the ranch with over 20 years of experience in housekeeping and as a small business owner. Her passion
is getting an excellent review on the cleanliness of our cabins. She is extremely detail oriented and cares about the curb appeal of each cabin. The Black Hills and Hill City is where she has made her home
and plans to retire. Her favorite parts of the ranch are the animals specifically the chickens and the variety of housing that she gets to work in each day.
